Join our Development Team and take on the role of Manager Software Development, leading our Software Team while continuously advancing our development processes in an international environment:
- Lead, develop, and mentor our Software Development Team, ensuring its long-term success through strategic resource planning and targeted employee development
- Take ownership of the compliance with and continuous improvement of our software development processes throughout the entire product development lifecycle, working closely with Software Managers across our international locations
- Represent NDI Europe within the global development organization, align responsibilities across sites, and drive the development and retention of key technologies and competencies within the team
- Manage external development partners to provide flexible support for the team, define work packages and deliverables, and ensure their successful execution
- Support your team members through regular performance and development discussions, individualized development plans, and appropriate training initiatives, creating a motivating environment for both personal and professional growth
PROFILE
- You hold a university degree in Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- You have several years of experience in embedded software development and the design of complex software systems. Ideally, you also have experience in establishing and continuously improving modern development tools and processes
- You are familiar with common software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum or the V-Model) and possess solid expertise in embedded software development, requirements engineering, verification and validation, as well as CI/CD processes
- Ideally, you have gained initial experience in the functional and disciplinary leadership of employees
- You communicate confidently in both German and English and demonstrate a professional presence at all levels of an international development organization
- You are characterized by sound decision-making skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and excellent negotiation skills, combined with an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to your work
- Intercultural competence, strong teamwork skills, and an appreciative, empathetic leadership style complete your profile
